Standard Ford Fusion recommended maintenance checklist provided, model-specific maintenance may also be performed.
 Every 5,000 miles:

You'll need to have your oil and oil filter changed every 5,000 miles to keep your engine running smoothly. Your mechanic should also inspect:

  • Tire pressure and wear

  • Interior and exterior light bulbs

  • Braking system, including pads, drums, rotors, and hoses

  • Fluid levels

  • Engine cooling system

  • Steering system

It is also a good idea to check for any open recalls ensuring all of your Fusion's components are safe.

All 15,000 mile service items, plus:

In addition to the inspection from the previous section, at 15,000 miles you should also check the drive axle boots, exhaust system, and heat shields. Replace your air filters and wiper blades if needed as well. Top off any fluids that are getting low.

 All 30,000 service items, plus:

  • Complete all of the tasks from the 5,000- and 15,000-mile services.

  • Inspect the fuel lines and replace the fuel filter.

  • Have your mechanic inspect the ignition system and transmission.
