Your Ford Flex will be a part of your family for many years if you follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule.

 Every 5,000 miles:

At each service, you should check for recalls to ensure you aren't driving around with any potentially defective parts. This is also the ideal time to change your oil and filter. While your technician is in there, have them inspect:

  • Lighting

  • Brakes

  • Tires

  • Fluids

  • Cooling system

  • Steering

  • Suspension

Your mechanic can make any necessary adjustments to get everything back to like-new condition.

All 15,000 mile service items, plus:

On top of all of the tasks from the 5,000-mile tune-up, the 15,000-mile service should also include:

  • Inspecting drive axle, differential and exhaust system

  • Replacing air filters in engine and cabin

  • Checking windshield wipers and replacing blades if needed

All 30,000 service items, plus:

Once you reach the 30,000-mile marker on the odometer, you'll need to repeat both of the above services. At this time, you should also inspect:

  • Fuel lines, replacing filter if needed

  • Ignition

  • Transmission

Each Ford vehicle requires custom service and maintenance based on model, trim, engine and service duty. The above checklist is a standard recommended list and other services may be performed.
