You love your Ford Escape, so you'll want to take good care of it for as long as possible. These guidelines will help you manage all of the necessary maintenance tasks recommended by Ford. Here's what you need to do.
Â
Every 5,000 miles:
Every 5,000 miles, you should bring your Escape in for an oil change, including changing the oil filter. While you're at the shop, ask your mechanic to inspect the following components:
Interior and exterior lighting
Brakes
Fluid levels, topping off as needed
Engine cooling system
Steering system
During this service, you should rotate your tires and adjust their pressure as well. At every service, you should also check for recalls to ensure your Escape doesn't contain any potentially defective parts.
