To keep your Ford E-Series in top performance, follow the recommended maintenance schedule.
  Every 5,000 miles:

  • Check the wheel end for play and noise

  • Check the condition of the tires and rotate them

  • Confirm that all exterior light bulbs are working

  • Inspect the brake shoes, pads, and drums

  • Check the fluid level and top it off

  • Carry out multi-point inspection

  • Check the half shafts, U-joints, and driveshaft

  • Take the vehicle for a road test

  • Inspect the engine cooling system

  • Replace the filter and engine oil

  • Set the correct tire pressure

  • Inspect the ball joints, steering linkage, and suspension

 All 15,000 mile service items, plus:

  • Check the following:

    • Condition of the drive axle boots

    • Transfer case and differential fluids

    • Condition of the brake fluid

    • Signs of the coolant leaking

    Replace the following:

    • Cabin air filter (if installed)

    • Wiper blades/inserts

    Inspect the following:

    • The exhaust system and heat shields

    • Steering linkage, suspension, and ball joints

    • Wheel end for play and noise

    • Half-shafts, driveshafts, and U-Joint


 All 30,000 service items, plus:

Inspect the following:

  • Transaxle fluid

  • Ignition wires

  • Fuel lines
